Everyone wants more money; "hey" I am no different to you. We all want a holiday to that tropical island, a new sports car, the new home so your family can live more comfortably or even just some extra cash to help out from week to week.I have had many traditional businesses over the years both as an independent and as a franchise, some with outstanding success and some not so great. So I am very qualified on the ups and the downs of business, as they say adversity is a fantastic teacher (if you are prepared to analyze what happened, both good and bad).Being fairly young when I started my first business I sort of just fell into it, I finished my apprenticeship and it was just a natural progression into owing a business in that industry. But it wasn't till many years (my 3rd business) later that I had the opportunity to step back and have a good look around and ask myself some very good questions like1. What did I want to do?2. What could I do?3. What opportunity's existed? These experiences gave me a fantastic insight into what to look for in future endeavors.1. Like did I need any special training? Or do I already have the skills.2. Cost of the new business verse the dollar return.3. Can I be happy doing this?4. Work from home or a commercial property?5. Does it fit in with my family and life style? This list can go on and on and vary from person to person as we all have different priorities. One of my biggest priorities was the internet; I could identify the enormous potential. And for years I knew that was where my future business opportunities lay, all I had to do was to find something that I loved and could throw myself into. In doing this research lead me to stumble across affiliate marketing, not knowing anything about this type of business I investigated it quite extensively to get all the in's and out's.Then I discovered a mentoring program witch really explained the business in great detail and simple terms, gave me the inside information on what works and what doesn't, what products are hot right now and where and how to get access to them, in total there is over 100 hours of video tutorials. This for me was the complete business, it ticked all the boxes. Not only did it show me how affiliate marketing worked in great detail it also opened my eyes to even larger opportunities online. All this information is really a one stop shop for making money online, my mentor has opened my eyes and shown me the boundless opportunities there are out there. It doesn't matter if you already have a product to sell or you are just starting out in your first online business, all this information that my mentor is ready to share is so universal and insightful it can be used many ways.
Five Steps To Do A Business
Now the total focus of the business is to do those simple steps over and over an over again. Even if the business becomes a giant, its success is still based on the original steps. Mindlessly followed, leading to massive wealth. Now if you already possess the key to a fortune. Your own business Now lets see if you can see the path forward. What is your first step. WRITE DOWN the steps in your sales process. Eg:
Make up a sales letter and small info brochure.
Send out 100 prospect letters to prospective clients on a weekly basis
Ring them all up.
Have a simple script offering the product or service.
Those interested, send them an information pack that includes an order form and how to order instructions.
Phone those who received pack and offer to help them in first order.
Receive order.
Follow up with a phone call thanking and confirming.
Deliver service of product. Things are going to happen once your start your process. Sales will be coming in and your business will be expanding. You will get busy and not have time to keep the cycle going. This is when you employ someone to keep the cycle going. They don't have to be full time. They maintain the process. Once they get too busy to keep the cycle going your break up the tasks and have two people keeping the cycle going.
One doing the collating and sending out the letters
One doing the phone work
Once they get too busy to keep the process going add more staff
May have two people or subcontract the letter sending to another company
Add an extra phone person.
One does new business and one does the existing customers.
I saw these principles in action
A small company was selling a service contract and going backwards . It was close to folding. A young person came into the company looking for a part time casual job. He started selling service contracts and was selling 90% of the companies' volume. He was asked how. He said "I have a simple methodology comprising of five steps. I do it over and over again. It works" he was happy to share the five steps
He was asked by the owners would he mind teaching it to the other five salespeople who were not selling anything. The existing sales manager nose was out of joint and did everything he could to stop him,
Never the less all sales person were taught the simple steps. Soon there was 15 salespeople working and the 5 simple steps were divided into two parts and handled by separate staff.
He did not consult the management he just saw it as a smarter way to do it. It seemed that by dividing up the tasks more sales could be made and volumes increased. The sales manager made every effort to sack the young man. It grew and grew and grew.
The company was floated on the stock exchange for $40,000,000 dollars after three and half years of operation. The young man was sacked by the sales manager as his ideas were seen as too simple. A sophisticated system of sales was introduced and sales stopped.
So what was the success? A simple five step sale process repeated over and over again. The failure, they stopped doing what made them successful. You don't have to worry about starting a business, you have the opportunity to create the five points with your mortgage. Contact a Mortgage Broker to find out how.
